Those who hear Brian play certainly believe that he has the unique ability to touch them in a meaningful way. A musician who often draws forth tears from the eyes of the audience, Brian places great emphasis on the expressiveness of his own performances in order to truly inspire those who hear him.

Brian displayed musical talent at a young age improvising and composing music on his grandmother's organ despite a lack of formal musical training. At the age of 16 he began studying the electric guitar and gave his first public performance just nine months later. He attended Western Washington University with the intention of studying philosophy and writing, but at the recommendation of the guitar professor he entered the music program instead.  He completed a B.A. in Music.

He has also studied voice with internationally recognized singers Pamela Casella and Craig Nim.

Brian's past engagements have included weekly performances at the 4th & Madison Bldg. for four-and-a-half years, a live on-air performance on the Bob Rivers Morning Show on 102.5 KZOK FM in 2009, and in-concert performances at the 2009 Seattle Arts in Nature Festival, the 2008 Northwest Faerie Festival, and the Seattle Museum of the Mysteries in 2006.

His performances include original compositions as well as music from a variety of different styles including classical, jazz, pop.
